The Big Beach Cleanup is Here!

Check out the latest from Doingitlocal.com on our beach effortsWith a bright beautiful sunrise over Seaside Park and a couple of very productive days already under our belt, we are ready to kick this thing off Bridgeport-style.
Join us today at The CCB Boat Ramp from 9-1 to do a little spring clean up and keep some of the tons of trash that has washed ashore in recent days from washing back into our greatest natural resource, Long Island Sound.
Mayor Bill Finch will be on hand at 9:30 to kick the week's worth of beach cleanups off, but arrive early for coffee and treats under a bright beautiful morning sky.

Interesting post. Good for perspective. I personally like the fact that the meters are in place. It encourages people to be conscious about the use of parking, which makes for a better experience when going into downtown designer home goods
