Beach Week Clean Up Has Started!!

A small portion of the more than 200 bags of debris collected todayA good days work is done and with over 200 bags of trash collected at Seaside Park the first day of the 2010 Beach Week Cleanup is done. Special thanks to Mayor Bill Finch and his family for lending a hand in cleaning up the east end as well as to the more than 75 volunteers who crossed the peninsula to harness the tide of trash left over from the storm and a winter's worth of flotsam and jetsam.
Please join us this week for a host of other cleanups at various sites from Ash Creek to Long Beach. Next on deck is Long Beach tomorrow at 10AM and Ash Creek Monday at 9AM.
